KĀNUSUBA ZAMAMI

Our mission is to offer you a quality stay
surrounded by nature and the sea "the world falls in love with"

A Zamami-time that will make you get closer to your five senses.

At our resort hotel, you will be greeted with pure Akabanā (hibiscus) seeds. The name Kānusuba refers to the place ”near the well” in the island dialect.
Around eleven wells can be found on the island and our hotel stands next to the one said to be the most sacred.

In Kānusuba Zamami, you will find five rooms available for our guests, along with a marine shop and a restaurant.
We offer a complete experience that will please your five senses with our accommodation, dining and activities.

Our marine shop takes pride in its team of guides that will take you on tours suitable for all levels: from beginners to purists. Our restaurant Akagi offers Innovative Ryūkyū cuisine that cannot be found anywhere else and that utilizes fresh and seasonal ingredients from Okinawa.

Feel Kānusuba's unique sense of hospitality next to the most sacred well in Zamami.

Zamami is registered as a Ramsar site. The island and Furuzamami beach have also received two stars from the Michelin Guide for their beautiful scenery.

This otherwordly place has gained attention abroad and came to be known as "the island that the world falls in love with".

The one and only Zamami, where you can feel the warmth of the island people (shimanchu) and be blessed by nature.

A place to spend a quality time surrounded by nature and in harmony with the sea "that the world falls in love with".

* The Ramsar convention, named after the city in Iran where it was signed, aims to conserve and regenerate wetlands while promoting their wise use and furthering cooperation and education to achieve these goals. Zamami Island and the Kerama Islands in general, in recognition of their fulfillment of these conditions, have been designated as a national park.
